In 1992 PetroSA started operating the worlds first gas-to-liquid (GTL) refinery in Mossel Bay. This facility remains the third largest GTL refinery among the five now operating worldwide. Our company plays an important role in the countrys transformation through a range of activities that span the petroleum value chain. Starting with the exploration and production of oil and gas, we manufacture some of the cleaner fuels on the market using a unique Fischer Trpsch technology. Our products include diesel, petrol, paraffin, alcohols and liquid oxygen and gas. We sell our fuels and petrochemicals to some of the major oil companies in South Africa and also export petrochemicals to international markets.
