Job description

A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

As a Finance Operator Intern, you’ll work with Palantir’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer and teams across the company on high-priority, highly visible projects. You’ll contribute to complex, fast-moving work that may span legal, corporate, finance, and strategic matters.

This is a broad role for someone who is curious, resourceful, and ready to help where the need is greatest. You’ll work with experienced colleagues to research issues, organize information, coordinate across teams, and move projects forward. Priorities may change, and you may be asked to take on work outside a defined area. Travel may be required based on business needs and internship logistics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the OCFO and company leaders on strategic initiatives and high-priority projects
  • Research legal, corporate, finance, and business issues and summarize findings for the team
  • Help assess complex or ambiguous questions, identify relevant considerations, and prepare materials to support decisions
  • Coordinate with Finance and other teams, as well as external advisors, to keep projects moving
  • Assist with corporate transactions, governance matters, public-company processes, and other work as priorities require
  • Take on new projects as the company’s needs evolve and contribute wherever support is most valuable
  • Travel when needed and feasible to support business priorities

What We Value

  • Experience in investment banking, corporate environments, consulting, accounting, or other finance related roles, is preferred but not required
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Curiosity about how legal and business considerations intersect
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to take on unfamiliar work in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and follow through on complex assignments
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and care when handling sensitive information
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel when needed

What We Require

  • Currently pursuing a J.D. or other relevant legal education, with an expected graduation date after Summer 2027

Eligible applicant locations: New York, NY.
