This is an exciting time to join Dematic as a Business Development Manager in the Integrated Systems Group based in either Sydney or Melbourne .

- Managing existing Customer base and account management by nurturing and developing on going relationships
- Developing new business and be able to recognize new sales opportunities
- Proven track record of effective business development, successfully meeting and exceeding targets
- Monitor satisfaction of customer requirements from enquiry through to implementation and ongoing servicing
- Develop and implement sales strategies and work closely with the Sales Director
- Collaborate and work closely with the Design & Engineering teams, showcasing Dematic’s solutions
- Work in close connection with the Project Management team to ensure smooth and complete handover of contracts
You bring at least 3 years of New Business Development experience , ideally within Engineering, Automation or IT solution selling industries . While qualifications in Engineering, Commerce, Marketing, or Logistics are valued, they’re not essential. You have a proven history of driving business growth, managing accounts, and consistently exceeding targets.
Experience in the supply chain or logistics industry and related support solutions is highly regarded. You’re confident engaging with senior stakeholders and industry leaders, backed by strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
An energetic, motivated, and passionate self-starter, you demonstrate professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a strong desire to succeed. You excel at independently developing and executing sales strategies, managing your time efficiently, and working effectively to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of warehousing operations and automation solutions is a bonus.
